Ralph is hammering the metal. Kenny is cutting and bending pieces. We’ve got this whole cast of super busy characters coming in and out, Mike and Mel are quickly setting up more lights for more camera angles.

Questions fly, usually very loudly: “Where’s my other drill bit?” “Who’s got the exhaust tips?” “Where the (bleep) did I put that allen wrench?” “Do we have another bulb for this light?”

Then there’s a quick and silent moment where everything comes together and the cut is clean across the metal, making the fabricated metal that much easier to polish. The cameras catch it all, the piece looks just right and those rivets fit perfectly.

That’s the magic of making a motorcycle (while being filmed.)
